The fuel filter ensures that no foreign particles enter the engine via the fuel. Regular replacement of this component protects the engine and ensures a long service life. The air filter should be replaced at the latest when the engine performance begins to deteriorate, for example when starting. When replacing the air filter and spark plug, it is best to use the practical combination socket tool supplied with your STIHL brushcutter. A cardboard hook is integrated into the packaging of the service kit itself, which can be used to conveniently remove and replace the fuel filter. You don t need any additional tools for the job.
