STIHL ErgoStart

The innovative STIHL ErgoStart system minimises the physical effort that needs to be exerted on the starter cord. It does this by means of an additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord reel. With ErgoStart there is no need to pull quickly; you can use a gentle and smooth move.

STIHL ElastoStart

The ElastoStart special shock absorber grip ensures a smooth start-up process with no need for jerky movements. This is thanks to an integrated damper that mitigates the load peaks from the starter cord, protecting your muscles and joints.
